The WHO and WHAT of Your Business

Many business owners want to believe that they can help anybody. The truth is they can’t, you can’t, I can’t. In order to be successful in your business you have to be very clear about your WHO and your WHAT. Simply put, your WHO is the people you are helping, your WHAT is the problem you help them solve. Your clarity on the WHO WHAT is absolutely essential to the well being of your business. When you know your WHO WHAT:
q Your marketing is focused on the right crowd of receptive people who need your services,
q You can talk about what you do with ease and clarity,
q You sound interesting and intriguing when you tell people what you do,
q You feel good about what you provide,
q You are attractive to new customers,
q You make much more money.
The WHO is a slice of the general audience out there with specific demographic and psychographics characteristics. Demographic characteristics are things like age, gender, income, profession, net worth, health status, marital status, anything that you can observe about a person and use it to identify them. Psychographic characteristics, on the other hand, are their beliefs or feelings that are not directly observable, but that characterize them as people, for example: are spiritual, like children, like nature, like reading self-help books. The reason you want to identify both their demo- and psychographics is that that will give you a fuller picture of your perfect client and connect you with their energy better when you are marketing to them.
For example, I identify my perfect clients as: Adults 25 to 55 years old, business owners or people ready to start a business (demographics), want to make a difference in the world and in their lives (psychographic).
The WHAT is the problem they recognize that they have and are willing to solve it. It’s very important to understand the problem from their own point of view. To help you identify it, here is a list of seven basic needs people have and want to satisfy:
a. Money (make more money, have more money, financial stability, get out of debt…)
b. Peace of Mind (happier, more enjoyable life, fulfillment, living with purpose…)
c. Health/Wellness (being healthier, more fit, losing weight, having more energy…)
d. Career/Business (starting a business, changing jobs…)
e. Love (finding a partner, having better relationship with a partner, improving relationships with family and friends…)
f. Time (having more time, more balance, more freedom, less stress…)

Decide on the most important need your services satisfy. This need represents your WHAT.

I encourage you to start thinking about your business in terms of your WHO and WHAT. Start taking notice of what kind of clients you attract, what client characteristics make them desirable for your business, what is their perception of the problem they come to you with. Your business will thank you.

Your Greatest Gift Is Also Your Greatest Need

Here is a deep spiritual truth I learned: The most precious gift you want to give your clients through your services and products is also your own biggest need. When I first heard it, it sounded contradictory to me. How can I give away something I need myself? Yet, at the same time I could feel a deep and important truth of it. It was one of these truths you feel more in your heart or stomach than you comprehend through your mind. The mind makes sense of it later.

The first time I heard it, I smiled and sighed with relief. I have already come to know my gift, my essence energy; I knew that what I wanted to give to the world, was something that, in my humble opinion, it desperately needed. Through my work I wanted to wake my clients up to the reality of them being enough for any endeavor they dream of. I wanted them to feel spiritually and physically connected to and supported by the Universe, because when you feel like this, you know you are enough.

And here is the thing: this feeling of being enough and that deep connection to the world has been a struggle in my life. I came to understand it only after so many low moments in my life and business. Once I saw it I worked on it. My need to reconnect with the world and to feel absolutely enough took me on a journey through a 12-step program, a metaphysically inspired church, Buddhist meditation practice, countless self-help and spiritual books, seminars, conversations. And let me tell you, the work isn’t over yet.

So how in the world could you give someone something that you don’t feel you fully own yet? Something that you might not be a born expert on? Well, here it is: You are an expert on it because you have a first-hand, intimate knowledge of the problem, you know the pain of being without it and you have had at least glimpses of the joy of being with it.

You may find yourself being able to give this gift more generously to your clients than to yourself. But remember, my friend, that by giving it to others you give it to yourself too. This is how we all interlace and connect in this wonderful Universe.

Think of your greatest gifts that you want to give through your work and see if the same is true for you. If you need support in defining your greatest gift, you may refer to Name Your Essence Exercise. You can access it at: http://yourbusinessevolved.com/Resources/EssenceEnergyRequest.html

Authentic Business

I believe that authenticity in creating and running your business is the key to your happiness and prosperity. Authenticity makes a huge difference. A difference in how it feels to you, the owner, to be in your business, a difference in how your business is seen and perceived by your potential clients, a difference in what kind of clients you attract, and a difference in the money you make.

We all know authentic businesses. When we walk into such places, we get this good vibe, this warm feeling that we are in a right place, and that the people who own and run it are really in tune with who they are. There is integrity present in their business. It’s easy for us to connect with them.

So what makes a business authentic? It’s the expression of your essence energy in all aspects: marketing, sales, services, and products.

Let’s talk more specifically about authenticity in marketing because that’s the area o lot small and micro business owners cringe from as the least authentic thing to do. And the opposite is true: Marketing should be the most authentic aspect of your business, because that’s where you have a chance to meet your perfect clients. And if your perfect clients can’t see you for who you really are, they won’t buy from you. Worse yet, if you are inauthentic, you might attract clients who are less than perfect for you and they will drain your energy because you won’t be able to give them what they really need. That’s why your true authentic voice is essential in marketing. Marketing is giving your potential clients a sample of your business, a taste of your essence energy, so your perfect clients walk away enriched by the experience.

How do you ensure that your authentic voice is present in the way you market? The first step is to fully get in touch with your essence energy and give it a name. Spend time with it, feel it, let it fill you. Practice simply being in it and allow it to inspire you. The second step it to evaluate all your business building practices with your essence energy as your filter to look through and see how present it is in all you do. If your essence energy is “Peace”, do your potential clients get a feeling of Peace when they look at your website or any other marketing materials? Does your audience feel it when you are speaking to them about your business? Your essence energy needs to be present in you and about you.

If you would like to uncover YOUR essence energy, please to go http://YourBusinessEvolved.com/Resources/EssenceEnergyRequest.html to download a free worksheet to guide you through the process. Enjoy!

Start with that, start from your core. Because if you are not authentically creating out of your essence energy and not giving yourself a permission to be who you are, your business will be out of balance. And you are not going to be as happy in it as you can.

Your Essence Energy

When I first heard of the concept of "essence energy", I was finally able to name the guiding force in my life and business I always knew existed. And when I heard the people I considered my business and marketing gurus pay so much attention to it, I knew it was important to listen. For all of us striving to build prosperous businesses based on integrity with our souls and hearts, this concept is the key.
Let me explain, the best I can, essence energy. Just like we have a unique genetic code, each of us has this special "energy code" specific only to our souls and to life missions. It is our deepest passion and our core essence, our calling. It is a quality that makes us come alive, in vibrant colors, in oneness with the Universe. It fuels us. It is our connecting point to the Source. When we are using it in relating to the world, we are in our own element. When we express it, it connects easily with other people's hearts and souls. It also could be, and often is, a treasure hidden behind our greatest life challenges, waiting to be discovered. Because it is also our biggest need and our key to self-evolution.
Your essence energy is the very core of you, the center of your being. It's what makes you - YOU. And it is your greatest gift to the world. When you recognize it, you really recognize your own greatness, your own value. When you actively use it, you are 100% authentic. People see you for who you really are and they appreciate you for it. This is the energy that flows directly from your soul to their soul. This energy is why you are here on this Earth.
When you truly know and remember who you are in your very essence, and when you allow your essence to guide you to your highest good, all your life and business decisions become simpler. You know what you need to do and how because it feels good inside. And when you are in it, you come across as authentic, valuable, and needed. Your actions stemming from your essence energy get you in front of the people who are attracted to your quality and who need it in their lives.
Here is the great part: When you are in your essence there is no competition. Only you have this specific quality to offer. Although your products or services might be similar to those offered by other people, your essence energy makes them unique and attractive to your perfect customers. When you are aware of your essence, you show it in every aspect of your business, so the right people see it and buy from you.
I encourage you to connect and name your essence energy. You might already know what it is or it might take you a while to give it a name that is truly yours.
If you would like to uncover YOUR essence energy, please to go http://YourBusinessEvolved.com/Resources/EssenceEnergyRequest.html to download a free worksheet to guide you through the process. Enjoy!

The Truth About Time and the Lack of It

Let’s talk about time. And the constant shortage of it.
I’m hearing a lot about the lack of time. Not only from my friends, clients, acquaintances, but also form the voices in my own head. It seems we get really stressed up about this time issue. And according to us, we would be so much farther along and in better places if it wasn’t for that time that doesn’t want to cooperate.
So lets take a good look and take it for what it is.
Any statement about the lack of time is a paradox, or putting it more bluntly - a lie. Because in reality there is plenty of time. Time is always there by our side. It never goes away. All we have is time. All we have is the now. The past is gone; the future is not here yet. So we can’t live in the past or the future, we can only be in the now. And we have a choice what to do and how to be in the now.
So where are our complaints about the lack of time coming from? Maybe we are trying to do too many things in a day? Maybe we desperately want to play too many roles in our lives? Or worse yet, play several of them at once? I certainly have been guilty of that – taking care of my children and trying to read and respond to my business emails at the same time. As the result, none was accomplished well.
What is really hiding behind our perception of the lack of time? The truth is that we think we should be somewhere else, somewhere farther along the process of our lives, our businesses. We have a problem accepting and loving where we are and who we are at this moment. We forget that all we have is the now and we like to think that we will be better people and in better places in the future. And we simply won’t be. We will be the same magnificent souls we are today, at this very moment. Our life is NOW. And right now we are where we are because this is just the perfect place for us.
So whenever you catch yourself complaining about the lack of time, whenever you rush, whenever you are impatient, stop and ask yourself what part of yourself and what part of the Universe you are resisting. And what would happen if you stopped resisting? The only way to deal with your unwillingness to accept and love what is is to look at it. And just taking a kind look at it strips it of its powers.
Be well.

Is Your Business Honeymoon Over?

Being in your own business is like being in a love relationship. And in a way, it is a love relationship, with love for the business idea, the possibilities it offers, and for ourselves as its creators and its partners. And just like in a love relationship, we go through stages, with changing degrees of our connection to the business, our belief in its success, and the confidence in our own ability to make it.
The first stage is a period of courtship, when we fall in love with the idea, can’t stop thinking about it and fantasizing how great it will be when we succeed. We “marry” the idea by actually starting the business and making a commitment to it. In the honeymoon period, when we are in the beginning stages of our business development, we are strongly connected to our grand vision and we have lots of trust, enthusiasm, motivation, confidence, and love to guide us. We look forward to our every day activities and we can’t wait to do what needs to be done to get us closer to success.
Then the obstacles happen. Things don’t go as anticipated, sales are harder to get than we thought they would be, we work longer hours, we realize we need to change some major direction in the business, etc. The honeymoon is over and the reality hits our business and our enthusiasm. Let me remind you that as hard as this stage gets, it is necessary and crucial to our success. This is when we start building the real busines. This is where we find out what we really have to do to get where we want. And this is where we could really use our enthusiasm, motivation, and love that were propelling us in the honeymoon stage.
So how do you get your original entrepreneurial energy back? Here is a way: Mentally and soulfully connect to your grand business vision. Try this body/mind/soul practice: Every morning before you start working give yourself five minutes to close your eyes, get centered and picture your success in vivid colors. This is how you want your business to look like when you’re “done” with it, this is how you feel when you have it all. Be specific and envision the clients you are helping, the money you are making, your lifestyle, and your contribution to the world. Then picture where you want to be a year from now, again in vivid colors and with the same details. Allow yourself to feel the success of getting there in a year. Next bring on the vision of where you want your business to be in a month from now. Again, be specific about what you want to happen and let yourself feel the success. And lastly, bring it down to today. Imagine your perfect today, what you want to have accomplished at the end of the day, how you want to feel. Set a clear intention of having the day go as you plan but also remain open to the Universe supplying you exactly want you need, even if it means changing your plan.
Do this practice every day. This five-minute time investment will connect you back to your dreams and will let you create your business with loving energy and enthusiasm. It will make it easier to focus on things that bring you closer to success on your terms. Just like in a love relationship, when the honeymoon is over and the “not-so-lovely” sides of us show up and sometimes take over for a while, you greatly benefit from remembering why you got into this relationship and why you want to work on it.
Be well.

Who Are You Being in Your Business?

Who you choose to be in your business determines the level of ease and joy of running your business and the money you make.

Every entrepreneur has three personalities participating in creating and running their business: a Visionary, a Manager, and a Technician. The Visionary is the one who gets the big idea, creates the vision, drives the energy and fuels you with enthusiasm and faith. The Manager is that guy or girl in you who helps you make decisions on how to structure and run your business, how to manage your time and assets, what strategies to implement, who you need on your support team, etc. And the Technician is the one who does the actual work. And this work involves things that can only be done by you because there is no one else that could possibly do them for you or better than you, and things that you do but might as well delegate to someone else if you chose to, like bookkeeping, scheduling, web design, etc.

You need all three of these guys (or girls) in your business. All of them are important as they have separate and irreplaceable roles. But what happens in many businesses is that one of the roles becomes more dominant that is called for. If your Technician takes over, then the business will lack in vision and will not be managed properly. You will just show up and work and work and work, and you will not have much to show for it in the end. If your Visionary takes over, you will just dream and plan, and dream and plan, and you will talk and talk and talk about it, but you will not get to actually do it. And if your Manager takes over, you will just strategize, plan, organize, etc, but there will be no vision guiding you and no one to do the work.

So you see how important it is for all three of them to cooperate and just occasionally take over, only when the situation calls for it. All three should have a lively role in your business on daily basis. The Technician is obviously to do their work but they should be properly managed by the Manager on issues of time efficiency, organization, delegation, and profitability. The Manager should actively strategize all time and efforts and make sure the business is making money and reaching its goals, and that you, the owner, are happy and satisfied. And the Visionary should take a good look at least once a week and meet with the Manager and the Technician to make sure that your dreams are being fulfilled and your business is reaching its possibilities.

Today I invite you to ask yourself this question: Who am I being in my business? Am I allowing all three personalities to show up fully or is one of them working too hard? If you are not completely satisfied with how your business is doing, you might find good clues in your answer to this question. You can make a real difference in your business if you make a conscious effort to let all three actively and equally participate in your creation. Let your Visionary guide you, let your Manager plan and strategize, and give your Technician space to do the best they possibly can.

This week’s Business Wisdom was inspired by Michael Gerber’s book “E Myth Mastery”. M. Gerber introduced the concept of the three entities in business but he might have used different names for them. Anyway, the credit goes to him and his work. And I highly recommend his books.

Could Recession Be Good For You?

I was recently talking to a life-long girlfriend of mine and we reflected how our greatest self-growth spurs happened in what we call “hard times”. I mean the times that felt uncertain, difficult, uncomfortable, when we didn’t know in what direction to turn, and when we felt we had to struggle with life. We reflected how if it weren’t for the hard times, we would not be where we are today. And we are in a good place. The hard times pushed us out of our comfort zones; they forced us to discover our strengths, capabilities, resourcefulness, courage, and resolution. We came out changed, with new perspectives and new understanding. So we thanked the hard times for giving us opportunities to discover ourselves.
In my conversations with clients and friends I hear growing concern about recession. Business owners worry if and how it might impact their business, if clients will be as ready to spend their money, if the industry they are in will survive recession, if they will survive. There seems to be a growing sense of insecurity and apprehension.
Knowing what I know about hard times, I’m not worried about recession. It will push some of us out of our comfort zones, it will make us adapt and find new ways of making money and maybe even force us into doing what we truly enjoy. It will teach us new things about our world and ourselves. We will come out wiser and with stronger trust in our own capabilities.
Today I invite you to open up to the gifts that recession might offer you. If you worry about not surviving in your industry, maybe it’s time to consider some big changes? If you worry about loosing some of your customers, maybe it’s time to think about expanding your sources of income by adding new products or services? Think how you and your business could blossom in the midst of recession. How will YOU adapt? How much wiser will YOU come out? Ask yourself these questions and if the answers are not showing up yet, don’t worry. I will quote after Andrea J. Lee: “Think of the questions you can’t answer yet as stimulants in your mind causing you to fire neurons you didn’t know you had. Like bits of sand in an oyster, those questions are the uncomfortable beginnings of new pearls of wisdom for you and your future”.

What You Do For Yourself You Do For Everyone

Somewhere along the path of my self-growth I read a sentence: “What I do for myself I do for everyone”. It made me pause and think, and smile. Yeah, I thought, exactly. I wrote it on a piece of paper and I kept it in front of me for several weeks for it to sink in and do its magic.
The magic was that it brought me closer to the deep truth that it all REALLY starts with me. That whatever I want for the world (and I do want A LOT for the world), I must want for me first. That as much as I want others to be happy, prosperous, self-sufficient, evolved, free, aligned with who they are - I need to be that first. So I started consciously BEING that. And my immediate world became happier, more prosperous, more self-sufficient, more evolved, freer, more aligned. I mean my kids, my friends and family, my clients. My world and the people I surround myself with are very different comparing to, let’s say, ten years ago. And all that has shifted in the beginning was my mindset.
It really does start with you. Whatever you want for the world, for your children, your family, your clients, your vendors, and your business associates, grant that to yourself first. If you want the world to be less angry, embrace your own inner peace. If you want the world to be more understanding, understand first. Change it in you and you will see the Universe follow.
Today I invite you to spend a minute or two envisioning the world according to your desires. If you had the power to change the world to be more of… (fill in the blank) or less of…, what would it be? Then I invite you to pay close attention to how you are in all your life situations and become mindful of how you could possibly want to shift.
Change yourself and watch the world change around you.

Watch Your Language!

More and more entrepreneurs are waking up to the new and evolved ways of being in their business. We know there is a gentler, kinder way to serve the world, express who we are through what we do and how we make money. We are definitely moving away from the “testosterone driven”, fear-based ways of competing and marketing.

Yet the language we use in business, and especially in marketing, is still reflective of the old ways and at times it resembles the language of warfare. For example, we “target” our customers, we “launch campaigns”, we develop “strategies”, we “compete”, etc. I was recently paying closer attention to the language I use in my business and noticing how it affects my mindset and me. I decided to make some conscious decisions about how I talk.

How would YOUR business and marketing perspective change if you replaced the outdated vocabulary with new choices? Let’s try it. Instead of “targeting your market”, you could “attract perfect clients”, instead of “developing strategies”, you could “create a perfect plan”, instead of “launching campaigns” you could “create a plan for successful promotion”, instead of “ competing”, let’s try “coexisting”, instead of… OK, I let you have fun with it and come up with new language. If you come up with something cool or innovative or funny, please let me know and I’ll be sure to pass it around.

Today I invite you to watch your language, to be mindful and see how aligned it is with the way you want to run your business and your life. If you find that you need some adjustments, go for them and be creative.

Are You Doing the Right Things?

What I see over and over again in coaching my entrepreneurial clients is that in order to truly succeed on the grand scale there has to happen a shift in HOW they work on their business. It is a shift from doing that they elect to do on daily basis to doing what truly needs to be accomplished in order to build the kind of company they dream of. There is a huge difference. I see many entrepreneurs who know perfectly well what really needs to happen to move their business forward the way they want to. Nevertheless, they spend a lot of time on activities that seemingly are related to their business, but don’t produce the needed breakthroughs. You know, like endlessly researching things, organizing, preparing, getting back to, responding, inquiring, etc…. I agree that there is time and place (or maybe even someone else?) for these, what I call, “peripheral” business activities. But if they consume your whole day or your whole week, you will feel like you are spinning your wheels and not going anywhere.

So how do you make this shift from the “peripheral” to the “core” activities? First, you have to clearly state what your core issues and actions are. Second, you have to treat them as your core actions when you plan your day or your week. This means that you either do them first before you touch anything in the peripheral list or you allocate and schedule adequate time for them. Third, you have to acknowledge and address your mindset around your core activities. Let’s face it: why you haven’t been doing what you really needed for your business has to do with you mindset, your beliefs and fears. Noting and acknowledging your beliefs fears gives them a chance to go away.

Today I invite you to put your attention of your daily activities and discern between core and peripheral things. Then decide what kind of balance between the two would be really healthy for you and your business. Schedule your time accordingly. When your fears show up in form of excuses simply notice and acknowledge them for what they are. They just might clear out of the way.

You Are 100% Attractive

Yes, yes, YOU! You are the one I'm talking to, the attractive, irresistible YOU. You are the magnet that attracts all things, people, events, opportunities, and, yes, sometimes even the "bad" things, to your life. Look around you - you are surrounded by everything you have attracted.

How we are inside, what we believe in shows up of the outside. The Universe serves us exactly what we have ordered with our thoughts and beliefs, and it always is exactly what we need. Even if we don't happen to agree at the moment. The Law of Attraction, for better and for worse, governs life unconditionally. So what do you do when you understand it? How do you work with it for your highest good?

Every morning I like to remind myself that I'm 100% attractive. First of all, it puts me in a really good mood. Second, it allows me to check with myself how I am that day, screen for any obstacles holding me back, check for my internal alignment with my grand life and business vision. Simply saying to myself that I am 100% attractive quickly cleans up any little internal messes, makes me sit up straight, puts a smile on my face, lets me relax into the present moment, do my best, and expect the greatest outcome.

Today I invite you to simply remind yourself gently a few times a day that YOU are 100% attractive. Check with you grand life and business vision and see if you need a little realignment in your thoughts and beliefs. Then put yourself in the open, receiving mode, do your best, and attract what you truly want.

Survive Email and Prosper

A week ago I finally came clean and admitted to myself that I was an email addict. I found myself checking my email about 20 times a day, whenever I (thought) I had a minute, before starting any new project or task (to get mentally ready for it), in the middle (to take a break of course), at the end (to relax), etc. I was especially vulnerable in times when I had big and scary projects to work on. At some point it seemed like checking and responding to email became my life highest priority. Big projects were progressing slowly but I was all caught up with my emails. And that somehow didn’t feel like a huge accomplishment. At last I looked at how much time and energy I was wasting on reading and responding to things very irrelevant to my life and business vision. It also became clear how distracted I felt most of my days. I only work four days a week, seven hours a day, I love it, and I don’t intend to change it anytime soon. So I really want to work efficiently and on things the most relevant to my vision.

Could you possibly relate? If so, read on.

So I bravely decided to really evolve my relationship to email. Here it is: I’m committed to checking and responding to email for 5 minutes at the beginning of my day (around 7 AM), then at the start of my work day (9 AM) for 15 minutes at noon, and for 5 minutes at the end (4 PM). Specific times of the day give me reassurance that nothing important slips through cracks, and allowing myself certain amounts of time permits me to read and respond to things really requiring my attention. Of course there are also some specific project coming through email that require more time than just five minutes, and these I schedule in my planner at appropriate times so I don’t feel the urge to respond right away if it’s not an emergency. And I have rarely seen any emergencies coming through email.

It might sound to put so much structure to something seemingly so insignificant as email habits but believe me I needed it. And I know that what I’m telling you here is not a discovery of America and it’s raelly basic time management stuff, but, if it’s so obvious and easy, why so many of us suffer from it?

I’ve been sticking to my new routine for the past week, it works, and I love it! I found myself being much more focused. And I get important things done.

So for all of you fellow email addicts: If you feel in your gut that your email habits might be standing a bit in a way to your highest good, I offer you my love, understanding and support. And I invite you to create a structure that would work for YOU to get yourself back on track to YOUR greatness.

Let me know how it’s going.

Take A Stand, Entrepreneur!

"When we take a stand, we can move the world - the world of ideas and people who act on them. Taking a stand is a way of living and being that draws on a place within yourself that is at the very heart of who you are. When you take a stand, it gives you authenticity, power, and clarity. You find your place in the universe, and you have the capacity to move the world." Lynne Twist "The Soul of Money"
What do you stand for in life, in business? Take a deep breath before you answer. What do you stand for?
It's an empowering practice to remind ourselves what we stand for. It connects us to our business on a much more powerful level. All of a sudden we remember the bigger why of doing what we chose to do.
Notice how different it is to take a stand from simply taking a position. Taking a position immediately disconnect you from the rest, you find yourself against something, in opposition to one idea over the other. When, on the other hand, you stand for something, it reconnects you back to the universe and you find yourself in a good and rightful place. So take a stand. Whatever actions you have to take in your business today, even the most mundane, remind yourself of the stand you are taking. And you just might find these actions easier, more joyful, more authentic to you.

Do What Inspires You NOW

As entrepreneurs we are very attracted by the vision of being successful, free, rich, doing what we love and being able to afford the lifestyle we desire. The vision of the successful future is our powerful guiding light, compass and propeller. We dream of all the things we will be able to do, buy, places we will travel to, charities we will support, dinner parties we will go to, massages we will get regularly… WHEN WE ARRIVE.

So what will it look like when YOU arrive? What will change, how will you live your life, how will you BE? Imagine all the things you that are waiting for you.

And now I invite you to consider this: Could I do at least some of these things today? Could I, in a way, arrive today, right now? Interesting perspective, isn’t it?

The more you arrive in the present moment, the more you remove the barrier between how you live and how you want to live. I encourage you to look at your thoughts and see if you tend to put your good life off, and, if you do, ask yourself how it is serving you.

So maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to schedule a massage for this weekend? Or maybe plan that trip you have been dreaming of this year? Or even simply start taking these 30 minutes walks every day? What could you do for yourself today that would make you feel like you have arrived?

Arrive today.
Be well.

Aligh the Business Evolution Process with YOU

The process of business (and self-) evolution is that adventurous journey that takes many turns, sometimes it goes up the hill, then it decides to cross the river, sometimes it goes straight and steady for miles. Then it asks us to jump of the cliff with it…

Wherever you are in your journey, you are where you need to be. There is no other place for you at this moment. Yet so often we find ourselves fighting what is, not agreeing with it and wishing it went away.

If we have some burning questions unanswered, we want the answers right now, whether we are ready for them or not. If we have just finished working on some big project and need some rest, so often we ignore our exhaustion and want to have our energy replenished right away so we can immediately “move forward”.

By not minding ourselves, our energy levels, our readiness for new shifts, and our bodies in the process, we “go against the grain” (as one of my today’s coaching clients so nicely called it:). Doing this we create with much heavier energy, more effort, less positive attitude, and in general nothing comes out it.

So today I invite you to take a look at where you are in the process. Feel the energy surrounding you, invite the unanswered questions to sit with you and not demand an immediate answer, or, if you just finished your big project, simply “sit on top of the mountain” and enjoy the view for a day (or week?).

Loving what is, being 100% OK with who and where you are gently opens doors to next steps. These next steps will then have courage to show up in their full beauty.

Be well.

Power of Intention

Here is my “Tuesday Wisdom To Use As You Please". Use it to your good health and to attract your highest good.

January is a perfect time for setting new goals and resolutions. I love this time of year because it gives me an opportunity to renew my energy and spirit while I’m asking myself “What do I really want to create this year?” I usually end up having fun with revisiting my vision board, taking down what has already been manifested (or what I don’t want anymore) and drawing or cutting out new pictures of what I desire. While I’m having fun and an outlet for my artistic expression, I’m also creating some clear intentions for the upcoming year.

Intention is a powerful way to attract what we want, create shifts we desire and move in the direction of our calling. There are times when we know we want something but we really have no idea how to go about getting it. Our perceived obstacles seem to stand firmly in the way, we lack confidence in ourselves, and we forget that the Universe is there to support us. We are not yet capable of conceptualizing a meaningful plan of action or even taking any first steps. That’s when simply setting an intention will do it for you. It will create a shift in you, in your, so-called, situation, in the Universe at large. Intention tells the Universe you are ready to receive.

Today I invite you to set some clear intentions for the things you want in 2008 but don’t yet know how to get. Just set the intentions and let them work their magic. Simply say to yourself: “This year I intend to… “. Fill in the blank. And see it unfolding. The plan of action will reveal itself when you are ready for it and you will know when to jump in the action.

PS. One of my intentions this year is to travel to Peru, I feel that something has been calling me from out there for some time now. So I DO intend to travel to Peru. My first step was to buy a little Traveling Buddha to serve as an everyday reminder of my intention and a little spiritual charm to help me manifest it. Hey, whatever helps…

Be well.
